Kalamazoo Storytelling for Racial Healing Workshop

DESCRIPTION: As bell hooks reminds us, “Telling stories is one of he ways that we can begin the process of building community,” and make meaning of abstract truths. In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll explore storytelling as a reflective tool for unpacking and healing the ways we have all internalized racism. We will also use storytelling for connecting more deeply to each other, and to ourselves.

LOCATION: Kalamazoo. Location details will be provided in a confirmation email sent out 1-2 weeks before workshop date.

COST: $45/participant. We provide this workshop below our actual costs, as an offering to our community. Please pay online (or make checks payable to “ERACCE” and mail to ERACCE P.O. Box 19105, Kalamazoo, MI 49019-0105). If you are unable to afford the cost, please reach out at eracce@eracce.org!
