Online Introduction to Systemic Racism


WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: 

  • Tuesday, September 22nd | 1:00pm - 4:00pm

  • Wednesday, September 23rd | 1:00pm - 4:00pm

DESCRIPTION: This one-day workshop is designed to develop a common language necessary for having productive conversations about race and systemic racism. We go beyond multicultural diversity to explore a definition of systemic racism, how institutions (often unintentionally) uphold systemic racism, and how to begin discussing systemic racism within institutions.

Attendance at all parts of the workshop is important as each part builds on the previous.

LOCATION: Zoom. Exact location will be provided in the confirmation email 2 weeks in advance.

COST: $200/participant. Please pay online (or make checks payable to “ERACCE” and mail to ERACCE P.O. Box 19105, Kalamazoo, MI 49019-0105). Payment secures your spot in the training. If you need financial support to attend the workshop, please email us at eracce@eracce.org —- We want you there!
