A Girl Like Me

In 2005, then 18-year-old filmmaker Kiri Davis re-created the famous 1940’s experiment by renowned psychologists Kenneth B. Clark and Mamie Phipps Clark. This experiment was designed and conducted in order to test the psychological effects of segregation on African American children. Ms. Davis’ documentary “A Girl Like Me” has won numerous awards.
